They would probably take time to adjust to the hurly burly and higher quality of the English Premiership, so a barnstorming impact wouldn't happen straight away. They would probably finish in mid-table for their first season or so; but what with TV money and gate receipts of about 60'000, they would soon be able to spend money. Big names would arrive, and their profile would improve, qualifying for the Champions' League after a couple of seasons. A lot of their games would be high-octane derby matches, so the entertainment value would also be high.

I think they would start off mid-table and then go up a bit.
Remember the attendances that Celtic and Rangers get for a home game are around 50,000-60,000
This is the types of attendances that people like Man Utd, Chelsea etc ... get.
If Celtic and Rangers got the money that the premiership teams get then they would become richer and have huge spending power.
At the moment they are stuck ina small league going nowhere - if they were put in a big league like the premiership I think they would win it around 10 or so years after being put in it.

I think to start off with they would be mid table if not lower. The current Rangers team would struggle. After a couple of seasons they'd soon be able to attract bigger names and so in theory be able to compete for a top 5 place. Don't think it should happen though for the good of the English and Scottish game.

They'd mean we need to relegate two more teams which menas my team (Portsmouth) would almost certainly drop which doesn't make me favour the idea !
I think they'd both finish top 10 but probably not better than 4th or 5th for Celtic and 8th or 9th for Rangers

First season in they would probably struggle and possibly pride alone would keep them out of the relgation battle.
But, then having survived the baptism of fire they might be able to improve in following seasons, one or other gaining a UEFA Cup place the following season.
But I don't see them ever challenging for the title (not unless they go through a Chelsea type transformation).

There has been speculation they would join the EPL but I doubt that. They both ahve a big fanbase and some good talent. However Scottish Football is not as strong as it once was. I doubt they could make it in the EPL unless they seriously adjusted their style and players.

Not much! compare their performances in europe to the english sides in europe is better than judging how well they played in the friendlies. I would say top 8 in the premiership.

They play in a Mickey Mouse League....There is no competition there for them. I'm sure if they were playing week in week out in the Premiership, it could only improve them for the better....I think the first season would prove them to be medioca teams......

Top 10 in the first year. So a mediocre impact at first.
