We have a daughter together, she lives with him. We can talk and be friends now when we couldn't when we were married.

Yes it is normal. I am friends with my ex. It's easier when they are not in your face all the time.

You cant be married for any reason but that doesn't mean you cant be friends. Some people just cant live together. Be very happy that you both are friends and working together. Your daughter is very lucky.
Don't figure it out let it be as it is.

I don't know about "normal" but i certainly don't see anything wrong with it. Your daughter is lucky that the two of you don't fight anymore and can actually start parenting her without all the antagonism I assume was present when you were together.
I think now that you're not living together, you don't have to deal with the petty issues that couples (even the unmarried ones) have to deal with so it's easier to be friends now than when you were married.

Is it normal..? It is the right thing to do with your ex especially when your daughter is living with him. I congratulate you and your husband for remaining friends, it will do a lot of good for your daughter

Actually yes, I have heard of many situations where the exes remain freinds. Especailly for the reason you said....that you can get along and talk now where as you could not before...It is totally normal and I think a very healthy practice....especially if you have children.

Yes it is.And when you have children by them it is necessary.I have an ex and we are more like good friends now.Sometimes you can love someone and not be able to live with them.I am in a position that we have grandkids now and its much better to attend functions involving everyone when we can get along.
