Yes, many of those who criticize our capitalist society could not maintain their standard of living without our production.

I would have to say no, because I don't think there is such a thing as a "fair share" of production. It's not as if it is possible for a country to not produce "enough". No country has an obligation to produce a certain amount of anything.

Of some things, yes - dreadful TV programming, obnoxious people such as Bill O'Reilly, Ann Coulter and Rush Limbaugh. Athletes who cheat (Justin Gatlin and Floyd Landis).

Fair share is always determined by the "have-nots" isn't it? You never look at your paycheck and say, "Wow, this is more than my fair share!" do you? But you'll look at someone else's and say it.
