Ok, I have sort of a problem. I hang out with people that like drink and do drugs and always ditch and bring alcohol to school and stuff. They're bad, but I never ditch with them and I only drank the alchohol once....my question is, I'm a nice, pretty, shy, smart girl. Why do all the guys always go after my friends that are........well [I'm not tryin to be mean] slutty? Like they do sick stuff with them like dry hump and they play around alot with them..To me it's gross.

I want to offer encouragement to you! Guys (being one!) always go for the easiest route. This will not always be the case! High school guys are cheesy, they think that it is what they want...every guy really wants a mature, pretty, moralistic woman to come home to one day...not the girl that flirts with every guy, that is ready on the spot to do bad things with any guy they meet! No guy want to worry about their girl messing with someone else. It sounds like you have character, don't wreck it by giving in...stand strong...it will be better in the end!

Guys want sex, and that's the best/easiest way to get it. As you get older, you will find that generally changes, though try not to be fooled...some people never change. I suggest you start avoiding the drugies and boozers, it will get you into trouble you don't want. Find friends who like doing the things you like. You seem to deserve a lot better from friends and guys.

Because they are NOT looking for a caring relationship. They are just trying to move themselves up the "cool" scale. Most of those girls end up with a lot of heartbreak. Do your heart a favor and wait for the loving guy you obviously deserve. Don't short change yourself just to have a b/f. As far as the loser friends.....how smart are you? You obviously see they are not good people to be friends with.....don't let yourself get hurt by seeing those guys blow it!

Teenage guys, most of them, are only thinking about those things and if a girl makes herself available, he will go after her. It sounds to me like you are in a totally wrong group and need more positive friends who are in sports or music, or a church youth group, or a good volunteer club or something. Those guys and girls have no respect for each other or themselves. You need to be around people who do.

I think that your thinking is on exactly the right track. DO NOT allow the goofiness of others influence the person you are. Be your own person and stand up for what you believe to be right. It is dead wrong for a person to try to be someone they are not simply to impress others who they know to be wrong. Just stay away from them and find someone else with whom you have things in common to associate with.

Guys at that age are mostly just out for a good time and when they get it theyre gone. Sobe proud of yourself. Just wait and you will find a guy who will like you for you and respect you and those other girls wil be pregnant at a young age.
