It depends on your tastes, there is so much to do and see, it's just stuffed full of beautiful sites, great neighborhoods and great food. Some don't misses for the visitor:
Chinatown
Alcatraz
Most visitors enjoy fisherman's wharf, most locals avoid it like the plague
The Haight Ashbury for funkiness and proximety to Golden Gate Park
If you like museums the new DeYoung just opened in the park, the Asian Art Museum just re-opened recently and has a large collection and the Legion of Honor is really pretty. Though we don't have any great museums these are all good.

you must go to
1. Fisherman's Wharf , then go with a ship to
2. Alcatraz , to see around the jail in there..or maybe u can try to stay one night in there? it can be..
3. then after that, you must go to Golden Gate Bridge..oohh i love the wind..
4. after that you can go to Twins Peaks to see the San Francisco city from above..
5. you can go to ChinaTown if you want, try to eat some dim sum..thats delicious..
