Your ref. will self-defrost about every 8 to 10 hours(depending on defrost timer) When this happens - the electrical defost heater(s) will heat up to "melt" the frost layer off the evaporator coil--which is located (usually) behind the back wall in the freezer section. "Frost" water will then drip down into a drain=out a tube/hose to a drain pan underneath the ref. This hose may be located on the back side of the ref. Make sure first that your ref. is slanted back slighly(water runs downhill) so it can drain properly. Adjustments for this can be found under the front , or simply use a "shim". This is important to do. Water can/will run down into the fresh food compartment if the ref. is tilted to the side or forward. Check the drain tube line for blockage=if possible-blow the line clear. A blocked drain line will cause the frost water to have no place to go, but over the side and down under the bins -finally leaking out on the floor. This will continue each defrost cycle. Good Luck.

There is a drain tube in the back. If this is clogged it could cause the problem, happened to us once.

the fan behind the compressor or the fan behind the freezer inside pannel could be the problem
