Not sure what exactly you are referring to, so here's everything I can think of off the top of my head
1 - An open mind (you are going to meet people that are so outside of your "normal" life)
2 - A desire to learn (it's totally different from high school - it's up to you to make sure you do what you have to do)
3 - A dependable form of birth control (especially freshman year - I know I did a lot of things I never thought I'd do)
4 - A small refrigerator
5 - A small microwave
6 - A TV
7 - Enough money for books
8 - Probably a laptop
9 - A small reading lamp (so you can study late at night without bothering your roommate)
10 - Something interesting to put on your door or post in your room that will make people stop when they are walking the halls and say "hi" (I had two things - a cool purple, burgundy and black fabric wall hanging and a poster of this well-muscled man laying in the hay wearing only a Santa hat - the hay was covering his "naughty bits") :)

Your books
a map of the classrooms (and know where your classes are meeting)
A good calculator, they come in handy in many classes
a strong backpack
Pens & Pensils
Paper - notebooks, one for each class or a multi subject one
Erasser
anything specificaly listed as a necessity for class.
Lots of sleep
Time for homework, because you will have homework the first day

That is a good start but usually as soon as you have your syllabus you have to go shopping again and get the things the teacher wants you to have as well.
