I would say to take a blood test...my mother in law kept taking pee tests at the doctors office and they kep coming out negative until she finally took a blood test and it came out positive. You have all the symptoms especially sore breasts. So take a blood test! Good Luck!!! :)

I was about 4-5 weeks (fetal) before mine turned positive. (Stupid cheap tests...don't buy Dollar Store Tests). Buy a good brand like First Response (which can detect as low as 8ml). I was testing regularly b/c I was TTC and trying to save money. Cheap test = late results.

I think you should see a doctor. It might be hormonal, you could be having a psuedo pregnancy, you could have an ectopic pregnancy (in which case tests aren't always positive).

At 7.5 weeks...it really should have turned positive by now. In fact, your baby should have a heart beat by now.

Are you sure you calculated correctly? One other option is that you're going to miscarry. This would be when levels start to peak and then suddenly drop because the baby isn't forming correctly. Hence you would have a negative pregnancy test b/c the HCG never reached high enough lvls to turn the test positive. (HCG lvls double roughly every 1.5-2 days. Most tests require a lvl of at least 20 ml.)

Btw - Early symptoms of pregnancy are the same as PMS. I don't know what you mean by uncomfortable sex. Like I said, I'm almost 9 weeks and sex doesn't bother me one bit. Peeing? Well the more you drink the more you pee. I think you might be over thinking this to some extent. I mean if you are pregnant, youre baby is the size of a rasberry or smaller. You're not going to see a HUGE change at this point, so don't over think it.

Good Luck

Actually if you were pregnant you will be 10 weeks pregnant, you count from the day 1 of your last period until now if you are indeed pregnant. So I would trust the test, you would definitely be able to tell right now. When we TTC it is like a real challenge and because of the stress and the constant sex activity our bodies change. Sore breasts can be a sign of period, ovulation or early pregnancy, peeing all the time if you are not pregnant can be te sign of an infection and that is why you may have uncomfortable sex, I have been very sexually active from the time I concieved until now 15 weeks pregnant and I have never had any discomfort when having sex. Painful sex is the sign of infection or something even worse like endometriosis, anyway, I would have that checked with a doctor.

Go to a health clinic near you. They can do a blood test which is a little bit more effective than a urinalysis. They might want to do one of those again too. Bear in mind that if you're overly worried or stressed this could cause the same symptoms as being pregnant. So try to relax and go see the people at the health clinic.

It sounds like all the symtoms of a pregnancy but if you are getting a negative test then you should go see a doctor. Sometimes when we want something really bad it seems like we are having the symtoms. Only a doc can tell for sure. Good luck and I hope you are (if you want to be that is)!!!!!!

I would definitely go for a blood test. It is not that common, but some women don't seem to get positive pregnancy tests on the home version. You would know for sure on a blood test because either there is elevated HCG in your blood (pregnant) or not (not pregnant). Good luck!!!!

I think heading to the doctor sounds like a great idea. Sound pregnant, but you should confirm and rule out any other problems.

Nice dress by the way!

Could be an ectopic pregnancy which means your HcG level is not increasing enough to show up on a pee test. I would call my OB. They will do blood tests to see if you are preggy and also do an u/s to see if its ectopic or if there are other problems.
