He's not. He's portrayed that way for some reason. But, yes, good question- How can he be responsible for EVERYTHING??

I am not Democrat, nor am I going to be hateful.... I merely wish to point a few things.
This man had no prior 'political' or 'government service' history(and Governor of Texas is a 'figurehead' position in which your sould job is incite the 'governemtnal process'), other than the fact that his father was President(and depending on whether you liked Sr. or not, determines how much 'good' that wil do for 'W').
His history in the military is incredibly 'shaky' and in'business'... it is down right horrendous(go look it up).
His international diplomacy is also horrendous(of course this is opinion- ie. if you think a more 'hardline' approach is good or whether you believe it is a more 'give and take' or 'softline' that shows true advancement towards peace and stability).
The necessary reasons that put us at war in Iraq have now come to be known as incorrect(whether you believe it is a lie or not) and the deathtoll of not only American Soldiers, but innocent Iraqi citizens is very large-Over 130,000) and the Party that is suppose to be so good for the economy has had a very hard time 'fixing' it, other than in the Weapons Industries... though an arguement could be made for Oil Profits, and others).
On the homefront, with so much going on, there has been little focus on 'education and family values' that was the platform he was originally elected on.
There is more and it gets tedious... but if you consider America the barometer for Civilizations to live up to, than unfortunately 'International Favor' and 'Civil Discord' has shown that we are no longer seen in that light, anywhere but here on our own soil... and that is even falling.
Of course, this could all be timing. Bad timing.

Shiraz, you loaded your question requesting no insults with an insult in and of itself...and again assuming the only ones against Bush are dems.
You are right, he isn't stupid. Never thought he was. He is a horrible speaker and, if anything, the stupidity could be a cover. And he is NOT what is wrong with everything in the world today.
Whiny liberals who say he is are as retarded as egocentric conservatives who think they can solve all the world's problems.
Thanks for the question. I hope when you answer any more of mine you will lay off the insults you usually throw out instead of responding to the topic.

To be honest, and I'm a very liberal Democrat here -- I don't think he's stupid. Not at all. I think he's a very, very smart man who knows how to play every aspect of the political game and he has a very smart set of people behind him. All the moves he's made are designed to disperse opposition. All the moves he's made are meant to conquer and divide. The mere idea that he's stupid has encouraged a lot of people to kind of drop their guard with him (and by nature, the rest of the government). They presume he just sort of "runs the country" in a stupid way. He has a lot of responsiblity and influence over this country but he's not the only one making policy. Congress, the President and Corporate interests (the lobbying process) all have a hand in forming the world as we know it today for Americans.
To turn your back on that because you think Bush is a stupid man is just dangerous.
He may not be wise, but he's definitely not stupid.

Saudi Arabia is still the largest sponsor and supporter of Islamic terrorism in the world. Spreading the Wahhabi Cult across the Muslim world (including many Muslims in America) and teaching hate and intolerance, even of non-Wahhabi Muslims. The hate being taught in schools and mosques must be ended. The American "crack whore" addiction to cheap oil must end or we will continue to sell-out everything we stand for just to get the next fix. $3 a gallon for gas is cheaper then the next September 11. Unless President Bush stops covering up for Saudi Arabia and using terrorists to bolster American policy, the War on Terrorism is a sick joke.

He's not responsible for all the world's woes, but as he is at the top of the government chain in the US, he is responsible for alot of the problems that Americans are facing today. Over inflated federal deficit, energy concerns, environmental problems, etc. How does he affect these? Alot of the problems stem from bills or legislation that he passed into being that allow for more leeway when it comes to big industry. In doing this, he allows large factories to bypass environmental regulations designed to keep pollution to a minimum, while at the same time maximizing their profit margin.

Its all Diebold's fault because there is not verifiable paper trail. and Jeb Bush delivered Florida as promise.
And if Gore was President 9-11 wouldn't have happened because he would have figured out the plot since he was VP when the clues were uncovered.
And if Kerry was President he would have gotten us out of Iraq even though he supported going in.
And the Alaskan pipeline leak is just an excuse to drill in the ANWR. And those dirty right wingers would have us believe that there was no leak, but this was uncovered during mandated PM because there was a small leak that evaded the pressure detection system in the pipeline. And those right wing fiends also want you to believe that the environmental damage was minimal due to this thing called the permafrost that keeps the thick crude oil from entering the ground.
Plus we all know Bush is amoral because he get a DUI over 35 years ago and tried cocaine.
Oh yeah... and even though Bush is stupid he is responsible for everything anyone in the world does because he, and he alone, created the hole in the ozone and global warming.

Bush is just a figure, he himself makes no decisions. He is controlled by people you and I will never see or hear about. The left plays the same game for the same reasons, money and power. To say Bush is responsible for anything would be to say too much, hes is just a lame duck taking orders from the people that own him. His whole family tree has a history of failure but they stay in the game because of people daddy knows and the money. Many deals were made in order to get Bush Jr. into office, and one of them was to start this stupid war on terror that will backfire on them and we will be the ones to pat the price. Thanks for voting for Bush America, you have truly accepted and continued the nightmare.

he could have handled things differently and be more effective.
example: Going in IRAQ. still WMD's no link between Saddam & Al-Qaeda
Katrina: A week ahead advance warnings were given but no action was taken untill the devastation occured.
Afghanistan is back in the hands of Taliban govt, Hamid Karzai repeatedly asked for assistance in stabalizing the country and getting rid of :Terrorist" instead we have our troops in IRAQ.
15 out of 19 hijackers of the tragedy were from Saudi Arabia, nothing was done to them.
The list continue's: He is a leader , not saying he is Stupid just He is not effectlive.
by the way I am registered Republican

Good morning,Shiraz.How are you today?
Bush is not responsible for ALL of the problems in the world today. What he did that I am concerned with is that:
1-He launched a pre-emptive strike against a country unrelated to
the 9-11 attacks.
2-He later admitted that it was based on false intelligence.
3-He refuses to withdraw the pre-emptive strike he admitted was
based on false intelligence.
4-Some,but certainly not all Republicans,have used hateful(one
"l") attacks against people exercising their first Ammendment
Rights to criticize the president.
That is part of my beef with him.I'm sure he's a nice guy and all that, but he has made costly mistakes on foreign policy.
No hate,no personal attacks,just my opinion.Thank you.

Stupid is as stupid does. When one allows an idiot to rule a nation, idiotic atrocities are sure to follow.
Lets get something straight here. I'm not a "democrat" by any definition. I speak out against ANY politician who is not qualified for their position, including and especially the President! Thankfully as Americans we have this right and I use it with pride!
