Unless you got a warranty from the other party as in the case of a used car dealer, you'll be forking over the money for the bill. Swapping a used tranny in or rebuilding your tranny are your only options really.

1) Pay to have the transmission fixed
2) Buy a new transmission
3) Buy a new car.
4) Continue to wish the world was perfect, life was fair, and that all things will work as advertised forever without wearing out.

Assuming you bought "as is" (which is the usual), your options are to fix it, or junk it an buy another. If you bought at a 'buy here-pay here' lot, and still owe on it, and they have a mechanic, they might be able to fix it and add the cost onto your contract.

its simple ,,if you didn't buy a warranty with it ,, you will have to pay for it,,unless it is still covered by the original warranty,,otherwise you will have to pay out of pocket to get it fixed, and this can be pretty expensive,,depending on where you go to,,good luck with it,,i hope this help,s.
