I am in the process of starting my own business. Will you please help me get started in creating a website. I'm talking about from A-Z, I know nothing about creating a website. Also, can anyone refer to me a reasonable web-site where I can order signs to place on vehicles. I greatly appreciate it.

No worries anymore when it comes to building a fully functional, up and running website for FREE! along with free domain name too!

Microsoft (free domain and hosting for life) ,
Google (Googlepages, Blogger) ,
Yahoo (Geocities),
Freewebs are some of the companies offering free websites with design tools .

check my profile for a list of websites , all the best :)

You can use either raw HTML with NotePad, or Microsoft FrontPage. I've used both of them and FrontPage is... I'm going to say easy to not so easy if you never dealt with any HTML source, but user friendly, unlike other Microsoft products. I like to use HTML source because, i feel, once know how to use HTML text source, you don't really want to use anything else because it's fun.
I can look at the source of the Yahoo! home page and can point out what source is used on the site.

Depending on vehicle, car, truck, van, SUV, but crossover is not an option, and depending on how big you want the ad will be pricey.

There are softwares that can help you build a web page from scratch i.e. Frontpage, Dreamweaver and there are also a lot of websites which offer free website design softwares

The best way to start is to have first a working knowledge of HTML so try visiting http://wdvl.internet.com/Authoring/HTML/Tutorial/toc.html for a tutorial. You can also find there great sources so that you can enhance your knowledge of web design.

If you dont want to sweat it out, then you can always hire somebody to do it for you.

Try
www.fastsigns.com/vehicle-graphics.html
www.decalfactory.com/vehicles.php
for your vehicle signs.

Hope that helped.

Microsoft Frontpage is the best for making websites, it's very easy to use.

for my own website I used Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, plus Frontpage, I also go and look for codes online, you just need some time that's all.

Actually it's not, I made my own website back in 2003, I was only 16, but I started working on it in 2002, I'm not trying to be cocky but actually my website looked professional, I closed it last year, cause I've been busy with college and all.

You have to learn some code. It will help alot, even if you don't end up writing everything yourself. It is like learning to play a musical instrument or speak a foriegn language...practice at least an hour a day. Its tough starting out, but it goes pretty quick once you reach a certain point. Its all about learning as you go,
Here is a good tutorial explaining the very basics...

if you don't know html and css then i suggest you download http://www.coffeecup.com/ it is a lot easier than dreamweaver that is meant for professionals.

coffeecup is a wysiwyg html editor that will write your html source code for you while you just drag stuff around on the screen.

search google for coffeecup tutorials

there are web designers that will write your site for you for a fee and advertise it in search engines as well.
