I'm sorry this happened to you! I know how hurt you are. I had my husband cheat on me in a way. He was having dirty talk and other conversations with internet women and really got into porn at one time. Whether it's a man or a woman...we all think there is something better out there. Shame on the woman that did not put an end to this but i'm sure it was excitement on her part that kept it going. We are only human and can't resist sexual desires sometimes. Unfortunately it hurts innocent people. I pray that if you are still willing to forgive him and he comes to his senses he'll come back to you BUT.... i would go with him to be tested for std's and beware if it happened once it could happen again but it's hard not to nag about it. It happened to me twice and i twice forgave my husband and i now have locks on my computer to keep anyone off unless i'm aware of it. I hope this has helped. Like i said it can be a man or a women that does the cheating why? Who knows. We are looking for excitement maybe in our lives but when that excitement is over what next.....

He doesnt understand or practice committment.Sometimes we think that the grass is greener on the other side but it isnt. You did nothing wrong. He has the issues. He has to fix himself. He may have convinced himself he is unhappy and instead of trying to fix it he runs.People do this all the time. You dont give any information regarding problems in the marriage but sometimes there doesnt have to be anything wrong, they are just unhappy with themselves and have to blame someone else. Its easier to hurt the ones we loves sometimes, but this does not justify his actions.Good Luck. You deserve better and you will get through this and be happy...

Because he has the notion that the grass is greener on the other side, little will he come to realize how similar his circumstance can become in comparison to his marriage, in which he will either make adjustments to make it better or cheat again and move onto greener pastors....either way...your better off without a cheating partner in your life...count your blessings.

this is a question that you may never know the answer to. My husband left me for my best friend after a 13 year marriage, and now they live together, and he never would tell me why. some things are best left unsaid, and you may never know, nor you may never want to know.

be glad you're rid of him, if he cheated on you with her, he will more than likely cheat on her with someone else. It sounds like he doesn't know what he wants.

Relationships come and go. It is unfortunate, but people change their mind, get bored or whatever. You should move on.
