will he be the next Barry Sanders or the next Ki-Jana Carter?

If he has enough speed to bounce out and run to the sidline (like he did against Tennessee) then he will be good

I wouldn't say he would be the next Sanders are Carter, I think he will be the first reggie bush, becuse he has his own unique running style and soon people will start compareing other RBs to Bush

Reggie Bush won't do too well. He seems to be too small and a one-sided RB in that he tries to outrun people. He doesn't seem to have the moves that Barry Sanders had, I think he's gonna be more like a Curtis Enis has been. The NFL is totally different than college football. In college, you can run like crazy, almost like it was a video game or something, which Reggie was able to do at USC. College has a lot of people that can't tackle, that's why we always see like these basketball scores, 75-7 or somethin'. When Reggie makes the transition to NFL, there's a lot of defenses that prevent these video game like runs and the pros can tackle better.

There's no question he has the skills to be among the best players in NFL history. He's got great speed, ability to cut back and change direction, catch the ball, return kicks, and so forth. His major weakness is running between the tackles, he's not a great straight-ahead, pound-it-out type runner. Plus, the rigors of an entire 20+ game (preseason & playoffs) season will be new to him. He's not terribly big, so who knows how he'll take the physical abuse.

This doesn't mean he'll do well or poorly. We won't know until we see how New Orleans intends to use him, or how good their o-line is. One thing that we need to remember is that in college, he could use his speed to out run most players, but in the NFL most everyone is fast so that advantage will be negated.

I think he'll have a great career....once he can get away from the Saints. Could you imagine him playing for the Rams? He reminds me of a Marshall Faulk type player...

I think he could develope into a very good player. Just not for a few years. Barry was amazing, and I know Carter wasn't great but he had alot on his mind. Someone sneaked some drugs in something he ate and totally messed up his system.

I think he'll be an average back, with that one carry a game that could go all the way. For example, saturday against the Titans, he had 6 carries for 59 yards. Of those carries, one was for 44 yards, so that means the other carries he had was 5 for 14 yards. Pretty average. His long run was a cut back run as well. The Titan defense would have had him in the back field if not for his cut back.

I know he wont be a kinjana-carter but he definitely wont be a barry sanders no1 can be another barry but he definitely will set a name for himself in the nfl
trust me he wont be unnoticed i do expect him to be a 1200-1400 yd rusher and about a 500 yd pass catcher wen his career takes off

I think he'll have a productive year, much like c. williams last year, but i think he'll get injured as williams did as well. If he can stay healthy, he'll be awesome. I don't realy like the comparisons though, the next barry, or the next m.j. Why can't players just make a name for themselves instead of being the "next" somebody else?

Hopefully he will do great, because I have him on my fantasy team.
With a QB as fast and versitile as Drew Brees behind him they should make a great team.
