You need to have the bearing fixed ASAP, it's dangerous to drive it that way, and the wheel can fall off. While it's in for that, have them scan for the error code and fix it. No, ethanol would not cause a check engine light.

using an ethanol based fuel will not make the braking system lights come on. It would more than likely be tied the the bad wheel bearing which should be you #1 priority at the moment.

Using ethanol has nothing to do with ABS.
ABS means Anti Lock Braking System

the ethanol could easily cause a problem on non flexfuel cars ethanol is a solvent and will break down all the rubber it comes intact with over a period of time which could mean orings, gaskets, and fuel lines could basically disentigrate

ethanol is a new type of fuel that only some vehicles run on it, if you do not know if your car is E85 certified, go back and use gasoline, your car should say "flex fuel" on it if its an ethanol vehicle

E85 is 25% less efficient than an equivalent volume of gasoline. You may be running too lean and the computer noticed it.
