YOU NEED A NEW COMPUTER OR BUY MORE RAM!! 128MB isn't enough now a days. New software and games need and take up alot more RAM than they did before. Example:

Game For Windows 95 requirements:
Windows MS-DOS 3.1,Windows 3.1,Windows 95
2MB System RAM (4MB Recommended)
IBM Processor or 386 Equivalent
CD-ROM Drive/ Flopy Drive
Sound Driver
VGA Video Card with 4MB VRAM
1.1MB Free Hard Disk

The Sims 2 For Windows XP:
2GB Hard Disk Space
256MB System RAM
Video Card With Direct X 8.0 Or higher/also with atleast 32MB VRAM (video RAM)
DVD-ROM Drive
Sound Card

See the sims 2 is a modern game and i dont think it run nor will any new game or new software. Just get a new computer, also Microsoft will soon have WIndows Vista comming out so make sure you get a windows vista capable PC. 128MB RAM is not enough to even run windows XP well. Also windows vista will not run on your computer.
Tips for a new computer:
AVOID Intel Celeron (what ever type)
AVOID AMD Sempron
Get 512MB RAM or More (i recomend 1GB or more)\
DVD-ROM/R/RW Drive
100GB and higher Hard Disk
Intel Pentium D Dual Core or Intel Pentium 4 Core Duo (2.8Ghz or higher)
nVidia Graphics card w/ 256MB (not shared) Video RAM or Ati Equivalent.
Sound Blaster Sound card from Creative Labs.
ALSO good PC brands are:
HP/Compaq
Dell
Sony Vaio
AVOID THESE BRANDS:
eMachines
ALSO Consider getting and Apple computer. Now apple has software called Boot camp, which with a Windows XP disk it can run Windows XP,so really all you need it a Appl computer. When it turns on it will let you choose to start either Mac OS X Tiger or Windows XP SP2!

No, you ought to upgrade the RAM in your computer. 128 is too low to have on most of the Operating Systems today (e.g. Window 98, Windows Me, Windows XP). I would highly recommend to get at least 512 MB of RAM, and if your computer can handle it, go to 1 GB (i.e. 1000 MB). RAM is cheap. To upgrade to 512 MB it should cost about $50 - $80, and if you can upgrade to 1 GB, it should cost abour $80 - $120. It is well worth the upgrade, as it will speed your computer and allow you to open more programs simultaneously.

Well you dont need to worry abt anything as it will run on ur PC as some amount of RAM is always taken up by system resources and it will show you little bit less. So just go ahead and install the game.

Take your computer to a shop and buy RAM and have them installed if you don't know how.
