There absolutely are legit mystery shopper companies- but probably none of the one's that are likely to post ads on the internet. The old rule still applies: if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

The legit companies are hired by major companies to shop their stores and complete sometimes fairly detailed surveys about the experience.
