Im going to be as unbiased and partial as I can. But I will give you a senario and you can figure it out for yourself, Imagine you had land, and you've been living there for many many years, working, surviving on it, then one fine day, a group of people come to your territory and take 3/4 of it and leave 1/4 to you, and that 1/4 you have is worth nothing because all the good land is in the side that has 3/4. That is the Palestinian view.

In the Israeli view, Imagine you had no land, and you have no where else to go, and you see someone who has a lot of land, so you think I'll take the land that is enough for my family and leave enough land for the owner.

The answer to your question can be yes and no, because the Israeli population is growing ( due to the jewish people migrating there ) so they need more space, and some palestinain areas are not fully occupied so why not use them. On the other hand, you can't take land that wansn't yours in the first place.

Im an Arab, but thats how it really is, I wasnt being biased.

Taking a land that does not belong to you is never a righteous thing to do. Imagine if someone needs a place to stay and simply take your property and stays in your room. Is it fair?

The reason that the world did nothing is due to the fact that US policies allows Israel to do as they think they should act as a government. If not all the UN resolutions issued to Israel would have been implemented. As to why The UN had not enforce the resolution I do not know but I am sure its because the US is still part of the 5 Permanent members of the UN Committee and affects much of the committee decisions.

I do not bear resentment to the Israel people but I do not agree with its political government. Romeo 31 is right on some issues.

first off they settled in this area only after they were refused to do so in Saudi Araba, Syria, Trans-Jordan and Lebanon before Israel became a country again. None of these countries wanted the Palestines to settle anywhere on the land that these countries had. So in truth Israel is settleing on land that was theirs from the start. Palestine has never been a country untill some Arab decided to say there was a country called that. The Palistinians were nomads up untill the 1940's.
So your question is false in it thought, its idea, and in facts!

Though in general I suppose it is right, I think in that speed there will be no nature reserve left in Israel.
