Implantation bleeding does not always occur. Some women have light spotting and some women just have a missed period. Implantation bleeding is caused by the fertilized egg attaching to the lining of the uterus about 6 to 12 days after conception. So implantation bleeding should longer than your first month of pregnancy. I have a few friends who have been pregnant and none of them had implantation bleeding.

It is less common than people think. I never had implantation bleeding with either of my two pregnancies.

No, it doesn't always occur. Only in some cases.
I've not experienced it with either of my pregnancies.

it doesn't always occur but it happened to me, and when it did happen, it was about 2 days before i was supposed to start my period, and it was just light pink spotting that didn't even last the whole day.

depends on how long it's been since conception. if it is more than 4 weeks, you should see a doctor. It can sometimes happen in the first month (and you'll think you had your period)
