I try to open ftp server by IE but everytime when I paste the link on the the address bar it says that "window can't access this folder, make sure you typed the name correctly and that u have permission the access this folder
details operation time out" or " the connection was reset"
Do I need a software to open this thing? if so what is it and how to use it?????

I paste the whole address to the address bar. So it should me no mistake about spelling...
if u know a lot of free softwares for ftp, could u please show me one of them?

No, you don't need special software. You have basically dialed a number that isn't in service. Probably there is a spelling error. Look closer.

there are many free ftp programs available. just goto download.com and do a search for ftp.
