Ever since the beginning of time people have been spouting doomsday prophecies. I agree with you. It is crap. The 22nd will come and go, just like Y2k came and went though many freaks thought the world would end then. I, for one , won't even notice the day coming and going...too much to do and see in my life...

No one really knows for sure when that will be.
Some say it will be 2012 AD based on the fact that the Mayan Calendar ends in that year. Otheres belive that WW 3 will mark the End OF The World. Still others believe that Revelations tells then when the World will end.

Even if there is a dramatic event on August 22nd, I seriously doubt that the world itself will end on that day. We face an uncertain future and there are no good answers about what it will bring. What we can control is how we choose to meet that future.
My vote is that we acknowledge our fears, but not be ruled by them, and stick to the principles and beliefs that make us who we are. I think we should choose to meet the future bravely, standing up straight and proud.

The pope said something about the end of the world in the year 2000 but was wrong and I say the end will be in a billion years when the suns runs out of hydrogen then blows up.

it's crap.If the world was really going to end on the 22nd,the whole world would mayhem,we wouldn't be sitting in front of our computers right now,we would out and about,living while we still could.

When I was a kid there were many end-of-world days but we're still here. I used to sit out on the lawn and look up at the sky waiting everytime some nutter declared it the last day.

Nobody can predict the end of the world. Only God knows. If he told any human, they'd probably blab it out to the whole world. That's what I suppose would happen, but luckily it didn't.

It's may be this generation.
They claim that all the signs are more so now then they ever were.
So, everyone take a good look at yourselves and start to repent. Do what is right and do what is good.
What will you say when God comes and your not ready?
No one knows when it is. But there are signs right now for sure.
