They're idiots.
They don't stop at pedestrian crossings either.
They slag off car drivers, but personally I think they're a lot worse and are a danger to themselves and other road users.
They don't seem to think that the rules of the road apply to them and I think they should have to pay tax and insurance if they want to use the roads.

Oh dear someone has upset you.
Now take a deep breath and count to a hundred.
They aren't necessarily acting like idiots. They are just trying to get where they are going, like you.
You seem to have a problem with them not being insured or paying road tax. You wouldn't have to if you didn't have a car. They may be insured, but they don't have to be because the damage they can cause if they make a mistake is relatively small. They are more likely to get hurt themselves. They don't have to pay road tax because their use of the road is so minimal that it would probably cost more to collect it than the authorities would get in. They don't have to buy petrol either, want to make something of that?
Do you ever stop to think that they are out in the rain when you are inside your car? Do you ever stop for others when you don't have to? Do you ALWAYS show the courtesy on the road that you should?
PS I don't have a car or a bicycle.

I cycle to work 10 miles every day, and as a rule I do stop at red traffic lights, but on the odd occasion when the road is empty I admit I have decided I just can't wait. I do also drive, and pay road taxes and isurance.
Maybe we should be glad there are cyclists on the road, who don't want to ruin the environment just to save a few minutes on their journey (it takes me about 5 or 10 minutes longer to cycle each day than if I drove).

Most of the enthusiasts have 3rd party cover through racing licences or CTC membership. They don't pay road tax but neither do some electric powered vehicles.I agree about the idiots but we aren't all like that.

I hate it, we were entering a car park once and a cyclist with all the gear started to overtake us on the left, if I hadn't been a passenger my husband would have probably hit him (with the car) as we were parking it looked like he was going to stop and have a go, but as we parked he cycled off as fast as he could. (he knew he was in the wrong He'd have gotten a right mouthful I'm telling ya!

a decent statement. Anyone that will walk out of the house dressed like they generally are deserves to meet a concrete truck along the way
