The first one is definitely the best - it's flawless. And I have to disagree with the person who said that the first movie is always the better movie in a series. That's only true MOST of the time. Look at the Godfather movies - the second is better than the first.

I think the 1 one. In a series the movies after the first one are in my opinion not good.

1 was great because it sets up the story and its hard to beat the original. 2 was great because he goes into the future and its fun to see Spielberg's ideas of the future. The hoverboards are awesome and the story about Biff becoming powerful is good.
3. I didn't like as much. It's more about being in the west than time travel and distortion. The ending was pretty bad too.
