Would you recommend the Scarlet Letter? What would you change about the book?

omigod i loved The Scarlet Letter. it was wonderful. it's just that you really need to know the vocabulary in it, because it could get really confusing. i got the scholar version, which came with the definition of the words that were a little troblesome. you could get that at any bookstore. i got mines from Barnes and Noble. i really suggest that you read it because it is not only an excellent book, but it will improve your vocabulary also! (it really will help on the SAT).

I would recommend the Scarlet Letter and probably wouldn't change anything about the book. It's a classic and doesn't need changing.

I liked the Scarlett Letter, a lot. The only thing I would change is the ending... I much prefer the Demi Moore/Gary Oldman movie ending to the book ending. They were way, way different story wise, but I would switch endings.

I would recommend it. While it may not be fact is rooted in it and is a great peek into the minds of the time.

i hated reading that book, the words were hard to understand, well not the words themselves, maybe just the way the author constructed the sentences. im sure it would have been good if i were able to understand it though!

I would also change it to be more like the movie.. its kinda like in the horse whisperer.. I so prefer the ending in the movie!

That book is boring. I hated reading it in school.
