What are the most important and effective things to do the day of weigh-in to stay where you need to be? For example: If you need to weigh in @ 105 and you are at 106.6 what do you do? Especially involving water weight... (Also.... what to do if you still get your period?) I gain weight then..... Any tips would be appreciated!

Run...run run run...before the weigh in...after it drink water....plenty of sips. Running will lose water weight and that will be a few pounds.....but make sure you replenish after.

I would not worry about weighing in. Your weight will change a little and that is ok. As long as you are gaining muscle and not losing it then you should be fine. As far as the water weight don't worry about that. It is better to have a little water weight than be dehydrated, especially when you have 4 hr long practices. Keep hydrated!! The best thing to do to see the fat percent is calaulate your bmi and use a caliper to measure the fat on your body. Don't go by what the 'average' person should weight.. gymnasts are different
