very often people are all typing at the same time, so they dont know that they have duplicated an answer untill it appears on the answers page!

I thought the point of Yahoo! Answers was to get an answer to your question. The fact that you got 3 of the same answer just confirms that it might be the right solution. It makes me feel good when I get a lot of the same answers because it helps me know what might be the right one.
I don't want to read other people's answers because it influences my own. I want to give the person asking the question the proper respect they deserve by giving them my opinion. I have read other people's questions in the past and changed my answer. I think I did that person an injustice by doing that.
Just take it as confirmation on a direction, and be thankful anyone even answers your questions.

Just be thankful that people want to answer your question in the first place - would you rather have nobody reply. Okay we can't all think alike, but if there is a definate answer to a question (ie: what colour is a tree - Green) then of course you are going to get lots of answers that are the same.

I think a lot of people start typing there answers at the same time, and it just ends up like that. I know there have been times where I thought I was the first answerer, and then it posts and someone else said the same dang thing ahead of me. Just how it works sometimes, I guess!

Because you'd get fewer responses, some Answers are similar but often with a little something extra added. What's the bet someone else tells you almost exactly this!! lol

It depends on how quick your computer is. I have tried answering and when i submit then i see that others have submitted just before me and they have the same answer.
But does it really matter if there is the same answer. It is a persons opinion on the matter, if someone has the same opinion you cant change your answer to something else.

Sometimes while a person is typing, other people are already posting their answers and some people might not want to edit their answers. Or simply they are in a hurry or just want the points
