pop up called popcorn.net keeps takeing over my computer every hour or so and i dont know how to get rid of it i tryed all my spywear and anti virus and nothing seems to work how can i get this annoying thing to go away?

if you're not interested in learning how you got it on your pc in the first place, skip down to the heading "UPDATED REMOVE popcorn.net INSTRUCTIONS:" and read from there, at the bottom are the numbers 1 2 3 4 - click 2 to move onto page 2 and so on.
it may not seem like a 'one click' solution, but that's because popcorn.net is a particularily nasty little bug so all steps are necessary.

Try going to this side and getting Hijack this it's a spyware removal tool, if your not computer savie you better get some one who is to use this tool, it works great but If you don't know that your doing you can mess up your pc ..

not sure what spyware you had been used. Recommend you to download a strong spyware called, "Webroot Spysweeper" the latest version. If this spyware doesn't help, I'm afraid that you do need to format your system.
Since this spyware was the stronger one in the world.

I would take it to computer experts to fix or I hear at circuitcity there having free check ups just bring your pc but not sure when it ends.

Try ad-aware from lavasoft, if that doesn't work - do a search on your computer for Popcorn and delete all those files.

first got to internet option, and do this -- delete files, delete cookies, & clear history

sure you've tried spyware and anti virus, but have u tried pop-up blocker? or if that don't work, get it cleaned out.

Dood simple just format it,or if it is to boring,have u ever heared of this image,yeah...keep image..it's the best idea,and solves problems easily...it is just like overwrite.

restore your computer to an earlier point.
All programs -> accessories -> system tools -> system restore.
