I am an avid Dragon collector, was wondering if anyone has the same hobby, any good web sites for pictures, or places to go to buy Dragon pictures or statues.

Go to the Wizards of the Coast website for lots of pictures and sketches scattered throughout of dragons. There are also numerous D&D reference books littered with color and black and white renderings. Wizards recently published a new D&D guide to Dragons. If you can't buy the books from them, try Amazon.com or O.
Todd Mcfarlane sells a very nice line of dragons through his site--I think it's Mcfarlane Toys. He also vends out through Amazon.com.
Michael Whelan may still have a site where his famous paintings of dragons can be grabbed, as well as Keith Parkinson. Check The Miniatures Page for Art Gallery- style sets of painted dragon miniatures grouped by artist.
Reaper Miniatures also has a web site that bleeds into a painted miniatures gallery, including dragons. RAFM Miniatures also has such a site.
Look for a game/hobby or comic specialty store somewhere near you. Very often they will have what you need. There you can also check out Dragon-type games, if you like.
Renaissance Fairs, and Game Speciality stores very often sell pewter and ceramic dragon figures--some surprisingly beautiful. If you can get there, the GenCon dealers' room is a nesting place teeming with dragons. GenCon also has a web site for it's semi-annual conventions. You might also find something at the Warhammer web site. The Excalibur Hotel in Las Vegas has several shops that specialize in dragon figures of many types and prices. Do a basic search for the hotel or call them and get the names of the shops.
I've been painting miniatures for 35 years this year. I have about 40 dragons, half of which are painted and mounted. I usually decline more painting commissions than I accept. Check out the Paintrix website and see what Jennifer Haley is posting currently. She's a professional painter and a friend of mine, and she sometimes does a dragon and posts it to her site. B.

We buy Dragons at the New Age shops in town. Ebay also sells them. If you type dragons into the search engine you'll get a couple of million hits. My hubby goes into Dragonneo.com for pictures. There's also a site called Malathar's Dragons that has alot of dragons on.

LOVE dragons. I have a whole collection of plates, and figurines and now working on a calendar with a dragon for each month. All you have to do is put "dragons" in the search engine and all kinds of things come up. I wanted a pattern for dragons and when I searched I found the BEST website for all kinds of crafts including dragon soft sculpture patterns. Hamilton Collection, Ashton Drake, and Bradford Exchange are all great for beautiful dragon statues. Catalogs: www.dancingdragon.com !

I have a nice dragon collection with most being the Asian variety. I have bought them overseas and in many stores in the U.S. I even found a pewter one with the dragon wrapped around a wine glass two weeks ago at a flea market for 4.50. Just go look for them. As to the web go to google put in dragon or dragon art and you would be amazed at the pictures you can download and the sites to go to. it is hours of fun.

*disclaimer my humour for the day*

well i used too, but my mother didn't like how they were burning my clothes. and that whole dragon's blood thing, not as good as you think..... far smellier and really doesn't protect you from electric weapons. bullets, sure, but taser, damn!
