There's a clear plastic bandage that actually not only fade scars but smooths them down. The bandage has medicine in it. I saw the before and after pictures and it's amazing. A dermatologist showed the info to me but I think it's now sold over the counter. Unfortunatley, I can't remember the product name. But the scar on the guy in the picture was really bad and BIG. After using this one year it had faded to almost nothing. Good luck. If I think of the name I'll let you k now.

i have two large scars across my face from a road accident. a plastic surgeon told me that any remedial work would take so long to heal so as to be no different from having the scars. 12 yrs on, no one notices them anymore, the colour will fade.

i really wouldnt go to the bother of going back under a knife, accept them, there are fa r more important things in the world than a couple of poxy scars!

THE BEST THING YOU CAN DO IF POSSIBLE IS LEARN TO LIVE WITH THE SCARING, TIME DOES HELP DIMINISH THEM
I HAVE SCARS FROM BURNS, OPERATIONS AND ACCIDENTS THE ONLY WAY TO REMOVE THEM IS PLASTIC SURGERY. ALL THESE COSMETICS ARE JUST THAT COSMETICS.
BIO OIL MIGHT HELP SKIN BLEMISH OR SURFACE SCARS BUT NOT A DEEP SCAR DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Vitamin E cream works wonders. My brother had similar scars on his face from an attack, you can't see them now.

Well, you could always try those scar medicine products, such as Mederma and Neosporin. I have tons of scars. I used both of them and they work great.
