No I don't, but I also think Google has already given every one of us up. Profits (derived from being allowed to exist) trump principle. And be sure the Cabal of Evil's spies are, indeed, "reading this". The truly scary part is most of us have no idea just how far this has already gone. If you want to know a little more read a book titled "Chatter".
On the plus side Google: A***ole (figured it out? If not, it is a vulgarity for the place humans evacuate solid waste from the body) and then click on I'm feeling lucky. Collaborators are allowed some room in return for their "co-operation".

I know the instant reaction by the Bush haters is to say Bush is an %$#@*&! But I'd like to see some details on this before commenting. What's wrong with asking for information? "Hey Google we would like to know if you have a list of people doing a search for teen porn? liquid explosives? mass murder?" I do not think there is anything wrong with a "request for information". As a matter of fact I would think this is a good idea, I'd hope google would help to find, child molesters, terrorist, and serial killers. Don't you? This is a request, goolgle is not a news agency shouldn't they want to protect our children, or us from harm?

I, for one, think we should suspend our constitutional right to privacy in order to fight the terrists, who all want to get nukular weapons and spread terra all over the world. Those Iraqizoids and Iranistanis scare the bejeezus out of me.
Yes, I'm kidding. Bush is a douchebag.

It's all a scam, they can track "terrorists" and pedophiles right from within teh PENTAGON, they don't need to even do supeanaing...or what ever, at least this is my thought on the issue. And you know what if teh government is REALLY going after BAD GUYS in this way(thru com-records) well thne it can be GOOD for US ALL (world-wide)....we just have to be able to TRUST the people who are doing the "spying".info-gathering, cappish.

That is like thinking it's bad for the police to see who googled recipes for Meth.
If you're going to catch the bad guys you have to have access to find out who is searching the bad info. I've googled nothing that I would be afraid for my government to see.
Much like drug testing, the only ones who should oppose are the violators of the policies.
I guess some people aren't willing to let the little things go for the greater cause of not being forced to worship Allah or dying if you don't.

As a non-American but using Google I see no reason why he should have any info on me. I happen to live in a free and democratic country.

No one should have the right to that type of information. But we have to get used to the fact that there is no privacy in the world of cyberspace. There is no going back now.

Their request had nothing to do with terrorism, it was targeted at searches associated with child pornography.
Yahoo, and MSN have assisted in these query info requests.
They can look at my google searches, I don't look at child, do you?
