You are fine. Anorexic people rarely eat and exercise in excess, like for hours and hours not for 20 to 30 minutes. I think your mates may be just a bit jealous of your success!

Technically, you cannot be anorexic without knowing it, but you can still be suffering from an eating disorder. I think the main thing you need to think about is what you are eating. So far, you aren't TOO much underweight, and lifting weights is definitely healthy. As long as you are eating at least 1,200-1,500 [at least!] calories a day, you are probably fine.
Just to be sure, here are the four basic criteria for the diagnosis of anorexia nervosa, according to the American Psychiatric Association's Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fourth Edition:
1. The refusal to maintain body weight at or above a minimally normal weight for age and height. Body weight less than 85% of the expected weight is considered minimal.
2. An intense fear of gaining weight or becoming fat, even though the person is underweight.
3. Self-perception that is grossly distorted and weight loss that is not acknowledged.
4. In women who have already begun their menstrual cycle, at least three consecutive periods are missed (amenorrhea), or menstrual periods occur only after a hormone is administered.
There is more, but if you do not have those four, you are NOT anorexic [and it definitely sounds as though you don't have at least most of those]. If you suffer from a few of them, however, you might be suffering from EDNOS - Eating Disorder Not Otherwise Specified - which can be just, if not more dangerous. If you think you have any eating disorder, go to a doctor.
Hope I was some help!

It sounds like you have an eating disorder maybe not full blown anorexic but it does sound like something is wrong. You need to eat all your food groups and eat a certain amount everyday. If you don't your hair will start to fall out and your brain won't work as fast... Plus it your losing weight to fast that's a bad sign and if you starve yourself- you will gain it. You'll just trick your body to learn to need less food and you'll have to keep eating less until you are anorexic.. You will start to gain weight by eating nothing.
And if you lifting- you should be eating good meals at the end of the day to support this activity. People on here can only give you advice but perhaps you should get some professional health from a nutritionist who can help you plan healthy meals that fit your life style.

Yea, you're not anorexic b/c you're actually thinking realistically about your change of habits. It makes sense to eat less if you're less active. But you did lose a LOT of weight in one month, and last time I pulled that off, I was eating one meal a day b/c I was never hungry and always busy. Since you accomplished losing the weight and you are in a healthy range now, and if you keep dieting, you're goin to turn into poop, so I'd expect you to start eating equivalent to the amount of calories you DO burn on a daily basis. It should stop the weight loss and you shouldn't gain anything either. Try this website for a while to get an idea of how much you're eating and burning until it's a habit. www.fitday.com

You're certainly not anorexic. Your friends might just be jealous of you. Congrats on your weightloss! For your height, you're the right weight. Plus, you say you eat right and exercise for only a little at a time. You seem fine to me. Just continue what you're doing. There's nothing wrong with being healthy!

you sound like you have an ok body image, it's fine to want to be thin, but if you feel like you want to use more weight and that you could never be thin enough, THATS when you have a problem. 5'2 and 105 is okay. Still within healthy range- just on the lower end.

5'2" and 105 is fine. As long as you are eating and exercising you are fine. Just make sure to eat healthy foods. Healthy is HOT, skinny is NOT.

If you are really concerned about it, then you should ask a doctor. Only a doctor can tell you if you are consuming enough food for a person your size and age. If he says your doing okay, then you have nothing to worry about. If he tells you to eat more, take his advice.
