The above word was misspelled. Where it says "hone", it was supposed to say phone.

There is nothing more annoying than calling somewhere only to hear an automated recording. I *hate* it. When I dial a number I want to talk to a real, live, *thinking* human being who just *might* have some empathy.

I realize that automation is much cheaper for companies, but I seriously think that saving money is a poor excuse. I'd rather pay more and put customer service back into the equation because I think in the long run, they'll lose money by using machines instead of people.

they are a sure sign of companies not wanting to pay more employees...and yes I hate them!
