No, the war a Terror cannot be won. Simply because there is no real enemy. A war on terrorism cannot be won because Terrorism is not an enemy, it is a tactic used by an enemy. And so far, these "Enemies" have no face, no identity. Anyone could become a terrorist, hell. It was just the other day when a US official stated. "This is not a war or a state, or a religion. This is a war on Islamic extremists. Etc." Islamic extremists? That's what we have made them out to be, are we forgetting that ANYONE can be a terrorist, all they have to do is incite terror within a Nation. The reason why it has to be fought it to protect the US, and the UK's right to protect the lives of innocent people, what happened on 9/11 caused this.. "War" in the Middle East, which lead to the UK at least, coming under terrorist attacks. Our nations have to fight those who are the people who choose to be terrorists to show that we will not become a nation of cowards. We will fight to protect those who we love. We will not stand down. If this HAS to go on forever. So be it..

No, the war on terror can never be one, in fact since we've started this war the number of terrorist has grown. But even if we did everything correctly, there would still be a few angry people who would commit terrorist acts, such as Americans who bomb abortion clinics, or the Olympics games in Atlanta, or the federal building in Oklahoma

Not in its current form.

Just blowing things up won't stop terrorism. One has to be willing to tackle the root causes of terrorism.
1) Counteract the radical clerics that recruit normal people to blow themselves up.
2) Start putting aide into the most affected countries to further education.
3) Additional aide to build infrastructure and give citizens of the affected countries a choice other than to listen to radical clerics.

Unfortunately, some force will be necessary. But the War will never be won entirely by force.

No, you can not win a "War on Terror" because terror is a tactic. As to "why fight it?" How else do you think the Cabal of Evil in Washington is going to install their "Constitutional dictator" and create their fear/security/police state?

definite!! It skill we opt to provide up p*ssy footing round with customary conflict and undertake UNCONVENTIONAL skill to end the project. A blanket assertion desires to be proclaimed: the USA of u . s . a . of america shall no longer pursue Terrorists everywhere in the international. we will loose all frozen sources and let the prisoners we at present carry to bypass loose. inspite of the undeniable fact that, if there is ONE unmarried ACT of terrorism, perpetrated adversarial to the USA, or any of it is voters, then the USA shall dedicate the perfect act of Terrorism and shall use a weapon of mass destruction adversarial to the capitol city of a predominantly muslim us of a. If or perhaps as those psychological midgets do dedicate an act of terrorism adversarial to us, DON"T BLUFF! NUKE the B*stards. Re-iterate the assertion. it truly is time the governments that are harboring those criminals grow to be in charge for his or her movements. enable them spend billions of greenbacks monitoring them and preserving them at bay. Why might want to the yank Taxpayer foot the bill? For the cost of a few nukes, or possibly 2 or 3 liters of the small pox virus, lets save trillions of greenbacks each and each years.

Only if we can find another Pershing. The story goes that he caught some Muslim terrorists and dug a mass grave. Then he lined 50 of them up and 50 pigs with them. He then shot the terrorists and the pigs simultaneously. One terrorist was not shot. The hole was filled and for fifty years there were no Muslim terrorist acts committed anywhere. See why we need a man like Pershing? Not a bunch of pussyfooting politically correct wimps

no. And they should stop calling it a war, because it can't be won, so we will always look like losers. We really should try to eliminate the recruitment by educating, giving aid, HELPING those desperate enough to kill themselves and others, those whose lives truly are worse than death. It isn't war to these people, it is a way of life...

Why fight it? That is an unbelievable question. For one I do not feel like bowing to Mecca five times a day. Second I don't like seeing innocent people being killed for no reason. The "people" attacking us will not stop until they are destroyed. It may take a long time to do this, but it is worth it to preserve our way of life, and allow you to ask silly questions.

As long as there are some Muslims who interpreted Islam more differently with false believe than others and carry out imaginary mission in order to fulfill their God's command to hurt innocents.
