He is in every way Superman. He takes care of our 8 month old son by himself for nearly 12 hours a day while I work, then cooks fantastic thoughtful dinners (according to my pregnancy craving du jour), and follows up with tasty desserts. He takes care of all bills and money matters and does the weekly and daily shopping for our family. He is without a doubt amazing. I want to do something to make him feel as loved as he makes me feel. We're not loaded or anything - so what is something low cost and thoughtful that I could do for him this weekend to express my continued love and gratitude for his hardwork?

BTW, I work 2 jobs 7 days a week, then care for our son in the evenings. I think I do quite a lot, thanks very much.

Give him the day off!! Let him have a day to himself doing what he wants while you look after your son and cook HIM a nice meal for a change. It won't cost anything and I am sure he will really appreciate it especially if the dinner is a romantic one with candles etc. when the little one has gone to bed.

its lovely what you wrote about your hubby, he sounds like a really good bloke, my hubby always helps out when he gets in from work and does night shift sometimes with our 4wk old son if the other 3 kids have run me ragged all day, we dont have alot of spare money but now and again i make him a special meal and get the kids to bed early so we can spend some quality time together and this just lets him know how much i love him

Get up early Saturday, make him breakfast in bed. Tell him to stay in bed while you attend to the baby. Arrange a babysitter for the afternoon and take him for a picnic or out for lunch. When you get home, dont let him do any work, do everything for him, take off his shoes, let him watch whatever he wants on TV etc.
Then on his pillow leave a token for a repeat of the day you just had, for him to redeem whenever he wants!

WOW you two really have your hands full! My husband and I are on a similar keel, on occasion I will find a sitter( if for dinner) and make him dinner, or breakfast, depending on which is more advantageous for us, the one thing my husband loves, but doesn't get enough of is a good massage........ so I'll do that for him, full body, just to let him know I appreciate all he does for our family.

I woudl recommend something that only you can give him...YOU! Just make up some thoughtful, sexy notes for him to find explaining the incredible night you are planning to give him, then follow though with it. My advice...don't go all mushy and romantic....guys want things a bit slutty now and thne, so go for what he would want, not what you would want. Those things don't cost money, but pay big dividends....

simple
take your child to the grandparents
Feed him breakfast in bed
make sure he has a relaxing day
cook him some nice dinner
top off with a good massage and lovemaking
et voila

the basis of a good relationship
kind tender loving care

to start of...take care of him.....wait on him with hand and feet....ask him if he would like to spend time with his friends...if not...get a babysitter...then draw him a bubblebath with candles and soft music....have a romantic dinner for two and then take him to the bedroom.....
just make the weekend all about him...he will see how much you appreciate him...but don't just do it on the weekends...show him everyday...i.e. leave lil notes on the fridge or under his pillow...tell him that you love him....

I think the best thing you can do for this amazing sounding man is give him lots and lots of cuddles, affection and tell him how much you love him everyday. This is also free!!

Arrange for someone to take the baby over night and make a picnic for you and your husband. You can do it right in the living room. Then strip naked and tell him to tell you his deepest fantasy and you will make it come true. (If he mentions another woman or man pack your things and run) :)
