Yes, I am 5'10" and I weighed 200 lbs about a year and a half ago, I now weigh 165, and I have no loose skin what so ever. My stomach is actually nice and tight.

It does depend on your age because the skin gets less elastic as people age, also it depends on how long you've been carrying this weight. You can get rid of excess skin, it is possible but will be extremely hard, even harder than losing that weight. However, if you're consistent you can do it. To lose weight you want a combination of cardio and weight training and of coarse drinking a lot of water and eating right. Once you've lost a lot of weight focus more on weight training and toning, this will cause the skin to be more elastic and tighten up. You can do it if you stick to it. Good Luck!

Firstly, you have to loose the weight slowly. Any crash diets that take off the weight in a short amount of time won't give the skin a chance to shrink. The skin has only so much resiliency, so keep it moisturized with heavy lotions and drink lots of water. The slower you loose the weight, the better chance you have of your skin adapting. Aim for around 5lbs a month, not 15.

A lot of this problem is due to age and genetics. The older you get, the less elastic your skin is. Also, if your Mom, Father, etc. did not have good elasticity, then you may not either.
You would benefit some from exercise, but do not count on it to totally correct your problem.
The best way is to loose weight slowly and exercise while doing it.

before you plan how many pounds you want to loose, you need to know how many extra pounds you have, loosing more than it could have negative impact. so plan it before u loose, and the skin is elastic enough to take the shape of the body if you are loosing the weight in natural way, that is through exercises and proper diet, and not by slimming plans provided by the some centers.

Rapid weight loss will make the skin drag. If you do it correctly and its only 30-40 lbs, you should be able to firm up the skin with exercise, and proper dieting.

It all depends on how fast you lose the weight. And what you did to lose it (stress, starving yourself, exercise, etc.) If you lose it too fast, your skin doesn't get time to catch up so you will get a lot of flabby loose skin that will look as though it's not yours.

no, i dont think there will be much elastic left. Dont let this slow you from losing weight though. the hardest part is commiting to losing the weight, exercising and trying to be helthy. Worry about the skin later.

Depends on how fast you do it, very fast you will have loose skin for a couple months or so. Slowly and it should shrink.
