Whites can do it also, but it deals with ethnicities. Not just being white, but your heritage. I see bumper stickers all the time for being Italian, Irish, and so on. Being white is a pretty broad catagory, you either have to pick your specific heritage or it will come off looking like white supremecy.

Wait a minute. A lot of white people do have T-shirts and bumperstickers that proclaim "Irish Pride," "Italians Do It Better," "Southern By the Grace of God," etc. White people who are truly proud express pride in their culture and ethnicity. "White Power," on the other hand, is a racist statement, not a statement of pride.

I don't know where you live but white people in this country do have shirts and bumper-stickers with the rebel flag which I guess is their way of trying to show ethnic pride. The state of Mississippi has the rebel flag on their state flag. I would also count NASCAR memorabilia as ethnic pride.

It's OK for white people to wear T-shirts or have bumper stickers or paint their garage doors with slogans of ethnic pride. There's no law against it. It's just that whoever does so has to be prepared to survive the slurs and epithets and criticisms that go along with it.

It is to easy for pride in your own heritage to appear to be disgust with
someone else's.

White people have a track record of racial hatred that other races do not have.
We have several hundred years of slavery, for instance, to try to live up to.

Generally, I think racial pride is a bad plan regardless of what the race is, but
I can understand why ethnic pride currently has the double standard.

Given a few hundred years, it won't have the double standard. It will
be equally right - or equally wrong.

I think that's a good question! If you have a white pride sticker, you are considered racist. But if you are another ethnicity it is okay!? That's not fair for you poor white folk! ;o)

Oh well! I'm gonna go put a new "brown pride" sticker on my rear!

that is a VERY good question. I also question why a black man/woman can get all sorts of student grants and loans for FREE... But a white man/woman cannot! I think the days of racism and mistreating a certain race have changed. The mistreated race is now the white man/woman. I have TONS of black friends... they agree. Whites are not treated equal now.

White pride is a slogan for supremacist. What you do see is stickers denoting Irish pride, Italian pride, etc. These are legitimate cultures with individual histories.

I am a black man and say do what you want. I am not going to lose sleep over something that you want to do. Whether it is a swatstika or not, it is your right to free speech. But the moment you impede on someone else's freedom of speech or deliberately be harmful to someone else because of your shirt, attitude, ego, or whatever, then its all on you. So for example, say you wear a kkk shirt, knowingly knowing what it means, and if you get your *** kicked for it, you accept the consequences of your actions. So like I said, do what you will, wear what you want, but also accept the consequences for your actions.

"White" is not an ethnic group. I see things all the time celebrating being Irish.
