There are many ways to do this. I've experimented a lot. Basically, I combine about two - three cups of fresh or frozen fruit with a tray full of ice in a blender and mix until smooth. In order to give your smoothie a decent texture, you probably want to put in some yogurt, banana, or both. Otherwise, you just get a slushie.

It all depends on the kind of smoothie you like
some are made with fruit and ice, some have milk or yogurt in it, use your immagination and your favourite fruits!
Some fruit combine better than others, like mangoe and raspberries. tough I love grapes and bananas I never combined them in a smoothie. I read somwhere that cellery and apples are good together.
I included a couple of my favourite smoothies that I've created over the years.
My family and freinds all looove my smoothies!
Breakfast in a fruit smoothie:
12 strawberries
1 banana
1 cup of vanilla soy milk
2 tablespoons of weath germ
combine in a blender
Makes a delicious healthy breakfast
afternoon "pick me up" smoothie
1/2 cup of raspberries
1 freshly squeezed orange
1 big piece of mangoe (no peel of course!)
1/2 cup of plain yogurt
