I'm attempting to lose 30 lbs. So far I've lost about 10. I think skin shrinkage wise, everything should be okay.

Yes it should be, 40 pounds, though will make a difference, shouldn't be so extreme that a body couldn't catch up. Make sure that in this instance the person loosing weight is drinking a lot of water and exercising. Now if there are stretch marks in the skin, I think there is a greater chance of it not shrinking back.

A lot depends on age. I lost 30 pounds in 10 months and didn't have loose skin. I think if you're under 55 your skin should shrink. I mean, it's only 30-50 pounds.

Part of this depends on the age of the person. The younger you are the more elastic your skin. Also how quickly you lose weight can determine if you will get any hanging skin.
Generally, if you lose the weight slowly and drink plenty of water the skin will keep its firmness.
If you are trying to lose weight, good luck. And know there are many people who will be willing to offer support.

Yep it can be done. As long as you don't lose it really really fast, but gradually over time, your skin should have more time to adjust.. Especially if you are still fairly young, because your skin loses elasticity over time, so if you're older you may still have some loose skin.

Depends on how much weight you are losing and the speed in which you lose it. The elasticity of your skin is also affected by genes, age, sun & medication.

It does count on your age as a results of fact the exterior gets much less elastic as human beings age, additionally it relies upon on how long you have been wearing this weight. you're able to do away with extra epidermis, it relatively is a threat yet would be particularly no longer common, much extra stable than dropping that weight. notwithstanding, once you're consistent you're able to do it. To drop some pounds you like a mix of cardio and weight training and of coarse ingesting loads of water and ingesting good. as quickly as you have lost loads of weight concentration extra on weight training and firming, this would reason the exterior to be extra elastic and tighten up. you're able to do it in case you stick to it. stable luck!
