If you found a big bundle of money in a deserted back alley, what would you do ?

put up a sighn for 1 week but dont tell how much money it is. if someone calls to claim it make them tell u how much it is first

Take it and keep it. Chances are a big bag of money didn't belong to a little old lady.

I would keep an eye on the news in case a little old lady DID report her life savings lost.

But after a reasonable period of time, I'd start spending it, carefully.

Turn it in. In most states if it remains unclaimed in 30 days it belongs to the person who found it. My niece found a 25,000 dollar ring in a parking lot and turned it in and 30 days later the police gave it back to her as no one claimed it. She felt she did the right thing and her honesty was rewarded without her feeling guilty.

Keep the money safe and ask around for a few weeks if someone had reported a loss. If nobody claimed it, I would certainly consider it more my property than anyone else.

good Q. as with anything, there are two sides. good and evil. black and white. then, there's grey. for me, this is grey. how big a bundle? does it look like legitimate money or blood money? for the most part give it back.

I would keep the money but not before looking right and left for anyone who may spot me in the first place.

If it had no proof of ownership or markings, I'd test it's authenticity & spend it. I'd post a message in the community
paper of it's lost. But I'd charge a finder's fee.(1/2)

Take the money and donate 3/4 of it to charity. Pocket the rest and treat myself to a nice,fancy dinner.

sense i live in a small town in Nevada id probably take it to the casinos and see which lost it, if it wasn't from the casinos then the store or bars would be my next stop.
