ok. me and my bf are planning to go to the coast this weekend.. and idk what all to do.. all we have is going horseback riding on the beach in south padre.. what else is there to do there?

lol. i live in new braunfels- where schlitterbahn originated.. and the owners are my neighbors.. so id rather not go somewhere else and pay for it. lol

Have you ever took a deep sea fishing trip? If not you need to try it, even if you don't like fishing its so nice to be out on the open ocean, that is if you don't get sea sick.

I hear that the Schlitterbahn in SP is not that great. I think the one in NB is the bomb! You are lucky to live near the owners! I would just rent a place near the beach and go to club hopping at night and play volleyball and go fishing during the day. If you go to the beach it is a relaxed vacation, not get up and go do lots of things otherwise go catch a cheap flight to Vegas and get a cheap room cause it'll cost you the same amount.

Louie's Backyard is a well known gathering place on Friday nights, last I knew, they had a firework display at 9:30 (Fri. nights). You can also rent bicycles and ride up and down the strip. Also Nuevo Progreso is a great tourist spot in Mexico. It's a straight street full of shops, bars, restaurants, and street vendors. I'm planning on going there next weekend, with my brother and his wife.
I'm also a neighbor of the owners of Schlitterbaun, I think, 'cause I always see the limo drive behind my house.

at south padre, you can rent a house by the beach for like 800 a week, and take surfing lessons ! my friend and i signed up for that and i was so much fun. i would totally recommend it
