If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.
For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.
Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.
Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:

bio oil contains mineral oil which WILL CLOG YOUR PORES! so noo... bio oil apparently works to reduce scars. and you're not supposed to put them on open wounds! however i've been putting it on my stretch marks and i dun see much of a diff as yet... i dont know maybe it takes longer hrm anyway with acne stick to acne medication! i personally use benzoyl peroxide on my large cystic acne and on days i dont use benzoyl i use retin - a. but you must consult a proffessional before using any of these products because you arent supposed to use it in conjunction with certain products and you are only allowed to use a restricted amount depending on skin. i'd highly recommend some proffesional advice if not you can always try mario badescu, they do have good pimple creams, but i personally prefer sticking to what the dermatologist says. also, i always use a good clay mask to cllean out my pores at least once a week. it does help my oil control and acne breakouts. that might possibly help as well.

Yes yes and yes! I used to be covered in exma and when it went I had terriable scaring all over my body. I started using bio oil and within a few weeks the scars had faded to alomost nothing. It costs about £8.95 at the moment. it is worth it!
Edit:
Vitiman E is good if used sparingly but it can damage the skin if used in excess. It has been removed from most chemists for this reason and doctors are warning patients not to use it excessivly as it thins and damages the skin.

yes it does its brilliant stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! in fact I've already recommend it on her to a girl who burnt her arm on the kettle stem. i had a really bad accident that left me with a double dislocated and broke ankle bone either side, and started using it on the scar and i my scar became hardly visible in 3 months, its brilliant stuff, and far mean the best Ive come across, my daughter don't laugh at this because this is the gods honest truth has acne on her bum legs and under her arms, and until she found out what it was a few weeks ago, i used it on her because she was so sore, itching and scratching i thought it might be a flare up of eczema so used it on her and it started to take everything away(Ive also used it on my eczema), then we found out it was a type of acne and I'm sure if it can get rid of her my scar and might i add stretch marks not totally but barley vi sable.
also i know a fiend who used to cut and it has faded a lot of her scares I'm sure it will really really help your acne.what have you got to loose try it its worth a try and I'm so sure it will work
