not to be smart, but you knew deep down she was gay. Why I say that is because you said she had a way of making you feel different. I think maybe you might have an interest in your friend. If you were not interested or thinking about your friend making you feel different you wouldn't have asked this question. Maybe it isn't her preference that's in question it's yours!! Good Luck with your soul searching, because your friend has found hers!!

Well i have alot of gay friends and there really kool.... but if your taking the situation kinda wrongly then juss tell her dont tell you about her her sexual life and stuff like that and you'd be fine ....... or juss try to ignore the fact that shes a lesbian ....... My ex turned Bi sexual on me and then gay so its cool now that hes gay it makes things alot more easier and you can understand a person through everything only when telling the truth and im glad your friend is happy with her sexualit its so awesome
Good Luck !!

If you were really friends before why should anything change now? She's always been gay so there's no reason to treat her any different. Just because she's gay that doesn't mean she wants you.

Just continue to be her friend. Also, you haven't really told us how you found out she was gay. Is she letting you know this or is someone else telling you the information? Whatever the case, just continue to be her friend.

Be there for her, because the minute word gets out she's going to need some support and you are her friend. Her being a lesbian should not push you away from being a friend, right?

So are you not friends with guys because they are attracted to girls? I honestly wouldn't worry. Just because she's a lesbian doesn't mean she's going to hit on you or take advantage of you. That's not fair to her. If at any time you feel uncomfortable with her, just tell her. Just because she's attracted to girls, doesn't mean she can't just be friends with them. What, is she never supposed to talk to a girl ever again unless she's dating her? Contrary to popular belief, gay people are not all horndogs.

If she is YOUR FRIEND than you should continue to be so - this will test and prove your friendship as well as your moral beliefs on that subject matter - if you love and care about her as your friend prove it and dont "give in " to the ingorance of the world
My thoughts and i am a straight 40 f .....

Being gay is not about what one does but what one is. It's part of one's soul. One things you should ponder is how good soul your friend is. That's what really matter. Support her and be there for her.

So what has changed between the two of you? It is none of your business who she or anyone else has sex with. If she is a friend and she is happy, be happy for her!
