I'm a 46 year old woman and I'm in pretty good health. The last couple of weeks I'm so warm most of the time.My household thermometer will say 75 degrees and to me it feels like 100.I dont feel sick and I'm having no pain, although I have been a little tired.Anybody have any ideas.I hate to go to the doctor when I'm not actually sick.

I'm not an expert or anything but it sounds like it may be the beginning of menopause. Most menopause happens between ages 45 and 52 but some start at their late 30s. The most common and easy to recognize symptom is hot flashes and sudden intense waves of heat and sweating. Some women find that these hot flashes disrupt their sleep, and others report mood changes. Check this website, it'll give you more information on menopause.

I know you said you hate going to the doctors. Even though you think you're not sick, something is definitely happening to your body. I would still recommend that you go see your family doctor. He/she didn't go to school for nothing and will be able to tell you exactly what's happening with you.
