everytime I try it says failed to retrieve searchbar settings.

DON"T DOWNLOAD SMILEY CENTRAL!!!
i did it on my laptop and it automatically downloadeda spyware called mywebsearch i had to get my laptop fixed becaused it messed up my wireless connections!

You will only end up with lots of adware and malware that you don't want anyway. Read the user agreement. You get all kinds of 3rd party software. That's why it is free. I would suggest scanning and cleaning your computer now and leaving smiley central alone.

If you're trying to do this on your computer at work, your network administrator may have you blocked from being able to install Smiley Central - it's a well-known spyware/adware program.

I downloaded smileycentral NEVER AGAIN I had so much trouble trying to connect to internet due to spy and adware It took me 1/2hour to fix the problem

i would not download smiley central.
it will give your computer a LOT of viruses

you might not have enough giga bites , or enough memory.. is your compter new? you might want to clean it out...
