i heard a long time ago that the dude who played steve went to jail but i dont know if thats true. but im pretty sure on the show it said that steve was going to college.

Steve "retired" a few years ago saying he hadn't planned to do Blue's Clues indefinitely.

He left to pursue a career as a musician. He has one album out, and is working on a second. I have not heard his music, but I know he drummer from the Flaming Lips played on his album, and I'm told its actually pretty good, quirky indie-rock.

i think he went to like jail or they didn't want him on the show or smthing.. i used to watch that when i was 5 and stopped because they changed the guy!
