Supposedly there are rumors about him being gay, and that he and Superman are together, but I cannot find any information about it on the web.

No. I knew his cousin (she died recently) who described him as a very nice down-to-earth happily married person. She really liked him.

The reason you can't find anything is because it's not true,people just think he is because he plays Peter Allen a gay music performer. Who died of Aids in the 90's. Again he is not gay how could he be gay when he has a wife and 2 kids? He has been married to her for 10 years! The guy who plays superman may be gay but Hugh surely is not. Plus if he was gay how could he do all of the love scenes in his movies with so much realism? He is a loving husband and devoted father. He si once again not gay check all of these websites and it will tell you. Go to the biography section it will tell you all about his about his relationship with his wife and his kids. Any rumors are just magazines like the national inquirer, looking for a good story to write about. His loves his wife, on the red carpet he is always looking at her and giving her kisses. All of his recent magazine interviews say things like best hollywood dad, or how his Daughter Ava has help make his relationship with Deb (his wife) even stronger! To wrap it up no he is not gay because he has a loving wife and children.

No, it's just a rumor. I don't know about Jackman, but Brandon Routh (Superman) is not gay. I think the Jackman rumor came about because he's in a few Broadway musicals.

I've known a number of men to have wives and families and who are also gay. Just because we think we are more tolerant now doesn't mean that that is the case.
Remember Rock Hudson? He had to pretend most of his life that he was straight so that Hollywood would allow him to work. How many gay actors get similar roles to Hugh's?
Hugh does have 2 children but they are adopted. Is this purely an altruistic act, the result of a necessity due to, either himself or his wife, having a biological inability to have children or the easiest way in which to perpetuate the myth of straightness?

I think the reason you can't find any info about it is because it isn't happening. Hugh Jackman is straight, People think he's gay because he's been in a Broadway musical.

Probably, all the celebrities that I think are attractive end up being gay. :P Last time I heard he was happily married, but he could be in denial or living a double life.
