I just baught a 320i BMW(Dolphin shape/E36)i found a cable coming from under the passenger seat next to the gears, it has a little plug on the end, anyone hav any ideas what this is?????

More than likely it is for the heated seats. Check the power seat controls including lumbar. If they all work, check to see if the seat gets warm with the switch on. It might be unhooked for a reason (blowing fuses?)

If the car has front seat warmers, perhaps the cable became disconnected.
