I think they will do decent.

The key to the Eagles success is STAYING HEALTHY. If they are able to achieve this goal, they will go far.

Another key is how well their receiving corps plays. The Eagles are a pass first, run later, offense so if they are never able to get the pass game going, they will have a lot of trouble.

I love the Philly D. Sheldon Brown, Lito Sheppard, Brian Dawkins and Michael Lewis, best Secondary in the game.

No, they don't have enough talent all around. Their receiving core wasn't as good as the 3 out of the 4 years they made it to the NFC Championship game. They had James Thrash and Freddie Mitchell (before he became a bum) in that class, and they actually got the job done for the team.

I think McNabb will end up struggling. When Owens was in Philadelphia, in the first year, he made McNabb so much better. Then McNabb messsed it all up by saying a few words to him in the huddle one time, and that's how the big thing got started with Owens and the Eagles. All McNabb's fault.

Anyway, McNabb isn't the best QB. He's more like a Peyton Manning type..chokes in the big game.

The Rams will come out of the NFC this year.

um...absolutely not. Their wide recievers are a joke. The Defensive line and linebackers are weak. If they run the ball well they might win 9 games. They are in a very tough division with the Redskins and Cowboys both being much improved over last year, and the New York Giants having a good team anyway. Andy Reid is not a great coach. He doesn't call great plays and can't manage the clock, which was never more evident than in the Super Bowl a couple years back.

Though I'm not an Eagles fan--I like them much better now since TO is gone. I think they have talent to do well. Are they Super Bowl caliber? Not sure about that. But to those people who think that since TO is gone, the Eagles will go down the toilet--I say, One man doesn't' make a winning team. It is a collection of people working together. They got rid of the cancer on their team--now they can focus once again on playing good ball. I will root for them--until they come to play my Niners.

Eagles suck.
Their OLine is far from the best. The QB is usually overweight and a poor performer in big moments. Besides who is he throwing to Baskett? Come on. The DB's will be abused again, like last year. Who are their linebackers? Trotter, thats it. The Eagles will be 3 in the division. McNabb will be garbage again.
Super Bowl team, yeah right.

I think a more pertinent question would be, "Are the Philadelphia Eagles good enough to win AT all?

DM can't hit a moving target and can no longer scramble well enough to make up for his inaccuracy. Their only hope this year is a better running game.

You're on crack. There's no way Eagles win it all, I'd even be surprised if they made the playoffs. They don't have go-to receivers anymore, they don't have an established running game, their QB is a question mark after his injury plagued season last year, and they have a difficult schedule agianst a very talented division.

Best O-line, best QB and best DB's don't make up for the fact that their receivers suck.

And the only way the Rams come out of the NFC is if the league decides to move them to the AFC.

Being from Philadelphia, Ive come to accept the fact that all Philadelphia teams seem to be huge let downs in the end. While I wont stop cheering for them, I wont hold my breath either...

I wish things were different for this city!
