Not totally right or wrong. I think you should be happy with what you have to the point that wanting something better isn't consuming you, however, there is nothing wrong with striving for better. I am speaking of things of course. I think true happiness is being with the people you love and the rest will fall into place.

Well no you would just be content not happy, happy is doing or getting or having what you really want / or happy is having everything you need. To answer you question no content and happy are totally diffrent things

Most of us seek happiness in the wrong places. We look to things to make us happy. We look to other people to make us happy. You need to look within yourself. If what you see does not make you happy, fill that place with God....and you will discover that contentment is with what you have. But, without Him, you will discover you just have one big empty void that will continually look to be filled. Some try to make themselve fill the void with drugs, alcohol, money, power, work, tradition, religion, and stuff. 'But it never works. It is a God shaped void and only He fits it to a T.

I don't think that there is clear answer to the question. Being content is a good thing but even if you are content you can still strive for more within your realtionship to be even happier.

Yeah. You forge contentment or go crazy trying to worry over the things that either can't change or are very slow to change. So you find contention like it or not.

I think that is right. You can have all the money in the world, but you can be very lonely. Or you can be very poor and have a great wife. Just be happy with what you have.
