Try using pantiene pro v and don't use any conditioner

Switch your shampoo, don't use conditioner and research the shampoo before you get it. Pantene is really bad for your hair and will seal of the moisture and it will start falling out. Sorry for the run on sentence. I'm to lazy to edit it.

And don't wash your hair evey day because that will make it produce more oil, think of the movie 'Lorenzo's Oil'. It will take a little adjusting, but do it when you have a vacation or something.

Change your hair products to ones specifically designed for oily hair. If you are using them already, try switching brands, or Neutrogena Anti-Residue shampoo or their T/Sal to clean your hair of the residue the products leave behind.
You may also want to try not putting conditioner on your scalp, just the ends. If you use styling products, do the same. Too much build up on your scalp can encourage the oil production in your hair. Look into light weight foam leave ins that you can apply to only the spots that need the mositure.
Get a monthly or weekly treatment for your scalp for oily hair. If you aren't sure what your hair needs, ask a professional stylist or even the clerk at the store can reccomend products that are made for oily hair.

Kiehls has 2 that are good; Protein Concentrate Shampoo for Oily Hair and Tea Tree Shampoo for Oily Scalp. If you're looking for something less expensive try Suave. You can also use a hair powder throughout the day; Bumble and Bumble makes a good one to match different hair colors.

You wash your hair for 5 hours? Wow!
If you have a problem with oily hair, wash it once a day using a shampoo for oily hair. Then keep your hands out of your hair. Hands pick up oils from your face and sweat from your body and transfer it to your hair.

I have the same problem. And all that washing can lead to dry, split ends. I was so happy when Aussie came out with its Dual Personality line. I use it every day and my hair hasn't looked better.
