Here I am,
On the ground.
My life’s broken,
But I don’t make a sound.
Pick myself up,
Why even try?
Just to be shoved back down again…
I’ve fallen so many times, I’ve run out of tears to cry…
Broken heart,
Once again.
But I can barely feel it anymore.
I’m becoming accustomed to the pain.
Once more…
Shattered pieces of this once whole life,
Lay in my hands.
Cutting through, ever so silently,
But no one understands.
My mouth is closed,
But my heart is torn wide open.
Screaming,
For someone to hear me.
Bleeding,
For someone to see me.
Dying,
For someone to heal me.
Just for someone to come along tonight
And take everything in my life that’s wrong
And make it right.
Just to stay with me…
….please stay with me, tonight….

I think it's very sad. My heart goes out to you sweetie. I think you need some parental advice, and care, and some friends to encourage you in your time of need.

Typical but sums up how you feel. It's not a publishable poem--amateurish and says nothing new--but it obviously got something off your chest and that is what poetry is truly for. I often, half jokingly, describe the writing of poetry as taking a good crap. Forgive the imagery, but I think the analogy is sound. Keep writing as long as its cathartic.

Poems stem from raised emotions...sometimes deep within the soul...sometimes from those just laying upon surface...
It is a good poem...something which reflects what you were feeling in those moments...a good way of release and for reflection, in the future.
Check RagMagOrg...they look for poetry to post for readers to share if you want to get something 'out' there...

I think you have a gift for expressing your innermost feelings on paper, painting a vivid picture, and moving others by your art. I was deeply moved by your pain. For a poetry website, you may want to go to http://www.poetry.com. You can submit your work for review, and learn from others. It is wonderful that you have writing as an outlet for your thoughts and feelings.

keep writing. Join a poetry club. Enter a poetry
contest. Nothing to lose, perhaps a lot to gain.
